TREKKING SVANETI RACHA

Day 1: Kutaisi airport – Mestia – 1500m ↗

• Flight to Kutaisi
• Drive along the breathtaking road to Svaneti, on the way stop at one of the highest and impressive dam on the Enguri River
• Lunch break in restaurant
• Arrival in Mestia – a town among the Caucasus Mountains with medieval stone towers 
• Visit museum of Svan Tower
• Welcome dinner in the evening
• Overnight in guesthouse,  Mestia

Day 2: Mestia – Zhabeshi – Adishi – 1500m ↗ 1690m ↗ 2030m – 16km – 8h

• Breakfast in the guesthouse
• Drive to Zhabeshi (1690m / 30 min), from here trek to the village Adishi (2030 m), on the way there is a panorama of the huge valley of the Enguri River and the surrounding ice peaks

Day 3: Adishi – Khalde – Iprari – 2030m ↗ 2722m ↘ 1890m – 18.7km – 8h

• Breakfast in guesthouse
• The route starts from village Adishi, on the way there is an opportunity to see the church of St. George and the view of the impressive Lardaadi glacier, cars will take our luggage to the accommodation
• Quite demanding ascent from the Adishi glacier to the Chkhutnieri Pass (2722 m), over a steep slope covered with bushes, crossing the Adishichala River, which flows from the Adishi Glacier. Going through the village of Khalde (1890 m) and reaching Iprari (distance about 18.7 km, estimated time of the walk about 8 hours)
• Dinner and overnight in guesthouse

Day 4: Iprari – Lalkhori – Davberi – Ushguli – 1890m ↗ 2200m – 12km – 4-5h

• Breakfast in guesthouse
• The third part of the trail starts from village Iprari at an altitude of 1890m above sea level. – walk to the village of Lalkhori, and soon enter the village of Davberi
• 4-5 hours after leaving Iprari we can admire the beautiful panorama of Ushguli 
• Dinner and overnight at guesthouse in Ushguli

Day 5: Ushguli – Racha

• After breakfast, departure by off-road vehicles from Ushguli to Racha
• Picnic in the bosom of nature and stops at beautiful viewpoints
• Dinner and overnight in Racha

Day 6:  Racha

• Day in Racha: visit to the vineyards, synagogue in Oni, possible short trekking in the mountains or rafting
• Dinner and overnight in Racha

Day 7: Racha – Supra – Kutaisi

• After breakfast, drive towards Kutaisi, visiting Gelati – included in UNESCO’s World Cultural Heritage list
• Supra – traditional Georgian feast at a friendly farmers house on a vineyard, with local wine and food tasting; Georgian cuisine workshops
• Overnight in hotel

Day 8: Transfer to the airport

• After breakfast transfer to the Airport
