Expedition overview
Day 0:
- arrival in the Tbilisi airport in the late evening hours

Day 1: Tbilisi airport – Sarajishvili factory – Tbilisi sightseeing (60 km)
- arrival in Tbilisi, hotel accommodation, time for rest, breakfast at the hotel
- sightseeing in the old town of Tbilisi, walk along Rustaveli Shota Avenue, Sioni Cathedral and Anchiskhati Basilica, cable car ride to the Narikala Fortress with a view of the city, walk to the waterfall located in the city center, in the district sulfur baths
- for those interested (optional): visit to the Tbilisi sulfur baths (private room, sauna, massages)
- visit and tasting at the Sarajishvili brandy factory
- dinner at a restaurant with Georgian dance performance
- return to hotel, overnight in Tbilisi


Day 2: Tbilisi – David Gareja – Udabno – Bodbe – Signagi (250 km)
- after breakfast, drive to Kakheti. Visit David Gareja rock monasteries
- snack break in Udabno (Svan cuisine)
- visit Bodbe Monastery and transfer to Signagi
- dinner and overnight in Signagi



Day 3: Signagi – Wine tour – Gremi – Supra – Signagi (160 km)
- morning: visit Gurjaani local market
- visit vineyards and wineries: Numisi, Kindzmarauli, Khareba
- visit Gremi fortress
- traditional Georgian supra at a local vineyard with cooking workshop and live music
- return to Signagi, overnight stay



Day 4: Signagi – Mtskheta – Ananuri – Gudauri/Stepantsminda (215 km)
- morning drive along Georgian Military Highway
- visit Mtskheta, Svetitskhoveli Cathedral and Jvari Monastery
- visit Ananuri fortress and photo stop at Jvari Pass (2379 m)
- arrive in Stepantsminda/Gudauri, dinner and overnight



Day 5: Gudauri/Stepantsminda – Truso Valley – Tsminda Sameba – Gudauri/Stepantsminda (40 km)
- off-road trip to Truso Valley: mineral springs, towers, picnic with shepherds
- visit Gergeti Trinity Church (2250m)
- return to Gudauri/Stepantsminda, dinner and overnight


Day 6: Gudauri/Stepantsminda – Borjomi – Akhaltsikhe (280 km)
- morning visit to Borjomi park and springs
- free time for lunch
- drive to Akhaltsikhe, visit Rabati fortress
- dinner and overnight in Akhaltsikhe


Day 7: Akhaltsikhe – Vardzia – Khertvisi – Tbilisi (280 km)
- visit rock city Vardzia
- stop at Khertvisi fortress
- return to Tbilisi via Javakheti Highlands
- farewell dinner and overnight in Tbilisi


Day 8: Tbilisi Airport (20 km)
- transfer to the airport

- Telavi – the capital of Kakheti, full of monuments and attractions with a beautiful view of the Alazani Valley and the Greater Caucasus Mountains.
- Georgian Military Road – one of the most spectacular mountain routes with the Cross Pass (2,395 m above sea level) and the Ananuri Fortress located on the Zhinvali Reservoir
- Georgian traditional supra – a traditional dinner with toasts, live music, and Georgian cuisine specialties at a private winery, with workshops of local cuisine.
- Visit to the “Sarajishvili” brandy factory – the first and oldest Georgian brandy from 1884 and tasting of selected VSOP and XO spirits

- Kutaisi – the third largest city in Georgia, known from mythology with the story of the Argonauts and the search for the golden fleece. The capital of the Imereti region with a charming old town and the majestic Bagrati Cathedral 1003. rising above the city
- Lake Paravani and the Javakheti Plateau – resembling landscapes of Iceland, full of extinct volcanoes, and the largest lake in Georgia at an altitude of 2730 meters above sea level.
