Day 0:
- late arrival in Tbilisi airport
Day 1: Sightseeing in Tbilisi (20 km)
- after breakfast, sightseeing of the capital, a walk along Shota Rustaveli Avenue and the old town city, Sioni Cathedral and Anchischati Basilica, cable car ride to the Narikala Fortress with a wonderful view of the city, walk to the waterfall located in the city center, in the sulfur baths district
- free time during the month, a break for an individual meal and for the purchase of souvenirs
- visit and tasting at the “Sarajishvili” brandy factory – the first and oldest Georgian brandy from 1884.
- welcome dinner at a famous restaurant, combined with a show of traditional Georgian dances
- return to the hotel for overnight stay
Day 2: Tbilisi – Sighnaghi – Bodbe – Gurjaani – Supra – Tbilisi (250 km)
- after breakfast at the hotel, departure to Kakheti – a land known for wine production, a region rich in medieval fortresses, charming towns and impressive monasteries
- drive to Signagi – a town with a 2.5-kilometer defensive wall, known for the oldest wine festival in Georgia, and on the way visiting the Bodbe Monastery – the burial place of Saint. Nino, who converted Georgia to Christianity
- Georgian evening: organization of supra – a traditional Georgian feast at a friendly host’s vineyard, combined with tasting of wines and local dishes, Kakheti cuisine workshops (baking bread or making churchkhela) with live music
- transfer to an overnight stay at the hotel
Day 3: Tbilisi – Ananuri – Tsminda Sameba – Gudauri (180 km)
- after breakfast, drive towards the famous Georgian Military Road, connecting Tbilisi with Vladikavkaz
- along the way, a stop at the Ananuri fortress from the 17th century, picturesquely located on the Zhinvali reservoir
- free time for shopping for souvenirs and a break for an individual meal
- stop at a beautiful viewpoint just before the Jvari Pass (2,395 m above sea level)
- entry to one of the most beautifully situated monasteries in Georgia – Tsminda Sameba, which is located at an altitude of 2,170 m above sea level. at the foot of Mount Kazbek (5033 m above sea level)
- return to Gudauri, dinner and overnight stay at the hotel
Day 4: Gudauri – Truso Valley – Gudauri (40 km)
- after breakfast, departure by off-road vehicle to the Truso Valley, known for its mineral springs, lakes, medieval defensive towers, the Abano monastery and the Zakahori fortress
- a walk around the valley, tasting mineral waters and an outdoor picnic with local shepherds and baking kebabs
- return to Gudauri, dinner and overnight stay at the hotel
Day 5: Gudauri – Ananuri – Uplistsikhe – Kutaisi (320 km)
- after breakfast, departure to Uplistsikhe – the oldest rock city in Georgia, where
- the establishment of the settlement dates back to the second millennium BC.
- along the way, a stop at the Ananuri fortress from the 17th century, picturesquely located on the Zhinvali reservoir
- lunch break on your own
- drive towards Kutaisi, the historical capital of the legendary Colchis, and currently the third largest city in Georgia and the capital of the Imereti region
- dinner at a popular local restaurant
- accommodation and overnight stay in Kutaisi
Day 6: Sightseeing Kutaisi – Gelati – Prometheus Cave – Kutaisi (70 km)
- after breakfast, visit the largest Prometheus Cave in Georgia, the length of the underground route is almost 1.5 km, the entrance is at an altitude of about 100 m above sea level, and the lowest point in the cave is 40 m below sea level, a light show takes place in one of the six chambers to Georgian music
- return to Kutaisi, transfer to two historic and extremely important monasteries for Georgians: Mocameta and Gelati – a medieval monastery complex included on the UNESCO list
- dinner at a local restaurant or Georgian evening: organization of supra – a traditional Georgian feast at a friendly host’s vineyard, combined with tasting of alcohol, local dishes and Imereti cuisine workshops
- overnight stay at a hotel in Kutaisi
Day 7: Kutaisi – Martvili canyon – Batumi (200 km)
- after breakfast, visit the picturesque Martvili Canyon and a short pontoon cruise
- transfer to Batumi, a bustling Georgian resort on the Black Sea
- hotel accommodation, lunch break on your own
- free time (possibility to walk along the atmospheric streets of the old town and visit the port, take the cable car to the viewpoint, the Ali and Nino monument)
- dinner at a restaurant with Ajara specialties
- overnight stay at a hotel in Batumi
Day 8: Batumi or Batumi – Makhuntseti – Mirveti – Batumi (100 km)
- after breakfast, free time (possibility to go to the beach)
- drive along a captivating route to the Makhuntseti and Mirveti waterfalls
- visiting the medieval stone bridge from the times of Queen Tamar
- visit to a vineyard located in the Adjara mountains, with a beautiful view of the surrounding area; tasting of local alcohols, dinner with traditional dishes from the Adjara region
- accommodation and overnight stay in Batumi
Day 9: Batumi – Mtskheta – Tbilisi (360 km)
- after breakfast return to Tbilisi
- visiting the surroundings of Tbilisi – the city of Mtskheta, which until the 5th century AD served as the capital; visiting the legendary temple of Svetitskhoveli, the place of coronation and final resting place of the rulers of Georgia; transfer to the Jvari Monastery located on the top of the hill
- free time, break for an individual meal and for the purchase of souvenirs
- farewell dinner in a restaurant with live music
- overnight stay at a hotel in Tbilisi
Day 10: Batumi – Kutaisi Airport (20 km)
- transfer from hotel to Tbilisi airport
