Program

Day 1: Tbilisi – Keselo – Omalo

  • The tour will start early in the morning at 05:00. meeting place is the bicycle monument
  • Departure from Tbilisi to Gombori pass (1620 m).
  • Visit Alaverdi Cathedral
  • After village of Lechuri, begins the valley of Stori from where Tusheti road starts and we will go through Abano pass (2826m)
  • Visit Omalo village visitor center where you can get Information about Tusheti’s history, culture, about sights and much more
  • Accommodation in a family hotel
  • Visit Keselo castle towers in Omalo
  • Traditional Georgian and Tushuri dinner dishes in a family hotel will be

Day 2: Omalo – Dartlo – Kvavlo – Dano –  Bochorna – Omalo

  • Breakfast at the family hotel
  • Visit the villages of Dartlo, Kvavlo, Dano. Here you will find an ancient court where they even had female judges. Also, Tushuri towers that are on the list of UNESCO monuments filed and restored. It was completely restored near the village of Dartlo
  • Lunch in nature
  • Visit inhabited at the highest point in Europe Bochorna village 2345m and Dochu village
  • Return to the hotel, we will have a family dinner in the hotel

Day 3: Omalo – Shenako – Diklo – Tbilisi

  • Breakfast in the family hotel
  • Visit some more villages – Shenako, Diklo and old Diklo. Diklo Castle as well and St. George’s Church of Shnako, which was built in the 19th century It is a temple of the century
  • Return to Tbilisi
